What began with a vision and 20 employees back in 1939 has since developed into an internationally successful fashion company: Digel – the menswear concept.
Innovative products, consistently high quality and excellent customer service secured Digel’s position as an established player on the German market within just a few years. By the mid 1960s, over 500 employees were working for the company and the 20 million DM turnover threshold was exceeded.
In response to the changing sales and production conditions of the 1970s, Digel began producing abroad. Thanks to its innovative products and consistently high quality of materials, processing and service, the company continued to expand in Germany and abroad.
Digel has achieved international success as a result of products that are innovative yet in line with market requirements, such as its stylish business suit featuring the functional Protect3 system. The introduction of a mix-and-match system for suits has also created new benchmarks. Digel is the leading brand in this segment in Germany and in other markets.
